ALBERT ROBBINS, DO
Environmental physician Dr. Albert Robbins shared this excellent article for use on Latitudes.org several years ago. It was part of his patient education program at his clinic. We lost track of it and are just now posting it. Before his retirement from his medical practice, Dr. Robbins was a much valued key advisor to our organization.
According to scientific research, it is a fact that all of us carry cancer cells in us, even if only a few. However, we also have natural defenses that usually prevent these cells from multiplying and becoming an aggressive disease that can kill us. These natural defenses include the body’s immune system, the bodily intelligence that prevents and controls inflammation, and cancer fighting foods that reduce the growth of blood vessels needed by tumors.
The key to cancer prevention for all of us, then, is learning to strengthen our natural defenses, our own protective biologic systems.
Dr. Albert Robbins is certified in preventive medicine and occupational-environmental medicine. A fellow of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, he is now retired. Dr. Robbins is an advisory board member for ACN Latitudes.
